Co-curated with Laini Nemett, this traveling exhibition features nine contemporary artists using natural pigments, dyes, and other land-based media — from corn cobs to cochineal ink. Leveraging their materials to evoke specific regions and histories, resist extractive industry, and grapple with the Anthropocene, these artists explore the creative possibilities offered by eco-conscious methods and what lies beyond the art supply store.
