Co-curated with Laini Nemett, this traveling exhibition features nine contemporary artists using natural pigments, dyes, and other land-based media — from corn cobs to cochineal ink. Leveraging their materials to evoke specific regions and histories, resist extractive industry, and grapple with the Anthropocene, these artists explore eco-centric ways of seeing and environmentally conscious ways of making.
